Riley & Rex - Adjustable Reflective Dog Harness

TL;DR: The Riley & Rex Adjustable Reflective Dog Harness is a size-adjustable walking harness with reflective detailing for low-light visibility. It comes in three sizes and two colours, making it a practical pick among harnesses for dogs whether you have a small breed or a larger dog.

Reflective detailing catches headlights and streetlights, which helps keep your dog visible during early-morning or evening walks. The adjustable straps let you dial in a snug, comfortable fit as your dog grows or changes coat thickness through the seasons.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, and in Red or Purple — six variants in total — so you can match sizing to your dog and colour to your preference.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This harness suits dog owners who want a simple, adjustable walking harness with added visibility for dawn, dusk, and nighttime outings. Because the straps adjust across a range of sizes, these harnesses work for many breeds and body shapes.

Owners of long-bodied breeds often struggle with off-the-rack fit, so adjustable harnesses for dachshunds and similar shapes are worth considering — start with the Small size and fine-tune with the straps.

How do I fit and use it?

Measure your dog's chest girth before choosing a size, then use the adjustable straps to fine-tune the fit. A properly fitted harness should allow two fingers to slide comfortably between the strap and your dog's body — snug enough to prevent escape, loose enough to avoid chafing.

Check the straps and buckles regularly for wear, especially if your dog pulls on leash or spends time in wet conditions.

What pairs well with this harness?

For added visibility on walks, pair it with the Riley & Rex - Reflective Braided Dog Leash or the Riley & Rex - 16 Ft Retractable Dog Leash. If your walks often involve rain or snow, the Riley & Rex - Waterproof Adjustable Orange Reflective Harness is a weather-resistant alternative from the same lineup of harnesses.
