Kalkwasser

Kalkwasser is a highly effective method for maintaining calcium and alkalinity levels in reef aquariums. When dissolved in RODI water, it creates a saturated solution that delivers calcium and hydroxide ions, supporting coral growth and helping to stabilize pH by neutralizing excess CO₂.

Used most commonly through auto top-off systems, drip methods, or kalk reactors, kalkwasser offers a simple, reliable, and economical way to maintain consistent water chemistry in reef tanks. Its ability to raise pH and supplement key elements makes it ideal for systems with moderate to high coral demand.
