Hydroshock alkalinity is a highly effective alkalinity supplement specially developed for reef aquariums, delivering a total alkalinity of 8,400 dKH. Formulated to precisely replenish carbonate alkalinity consumed by coral growth, it supports stable and robust coral skeleton formation by maintaining optimal aragonite saturation states. The inclusion of boron enhances buffering capacity, significantly reducing day to night pH fluctuations that can stress corals and inhibit growth. Regular use helps achieve consistently ideal alkalinity levels, promoting vibrant coral coloration and overall aquarium health.
USE
Part 2 of 3. Dose equal volumes of Parts 1, 2 and 3 daily.
DOSE
Start at 1 mL of each part per 100 L (26 US gal) daily. 1 mL per 3.785 L (1 US gal) adds about 2.22 dKH. Test alkalinity regularly and adjust all three parts together.
LIMIT
Max +0.5 dKH in 24 h. Split larger corrections over several days. Retest before repeating.
CAUTION
Dose into high flow, 10 min apart from Part 1. Never mix concentrates. Store sealed, cool (≤25 °C) and dark.
For aquarium use only. Do not ingest. Irritates eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children.
