Boomer Drum

Our Boomer is a 6-tongue hardwood tongue drum made with the same craftsmanship and care as our wooden toys.

This beautiful percussion instrument is a 6-tongue hardwood tongue drum made with a handsome piece of hardwood on the top of a soundbox.

The hardwood top has six "tongues" of different length which produce different tones when struck. This drum makes a very soothing sound, unlike the harsh and sharp sounds from many drums and drum kits. The wooden soundbox creates a warm, mellow xylophone-like sound. Rubber stoppers, mounted on the bottom of the Baby Boomer, isolate the vibration and make the sound more pronounced.

We have heard some AMAZING music come out of these drums in our many years at craft shows!

Made with the same craftsmanship and heirloom quality as our toys, our Boomer tongue drums are made to last. Perfect for multi-generational families and it can be handed down to your children and grandchildren.

We also have a smaller tongue drum, our Baby Boomer which has 4 tongues. Both of our Boomers are perfect for kids or adults who like rhythm.

Included with the Baby Boomer Drum are 2 specially designed drumsticks.
