Who is it for?

This The Honest Kitchen chicken recipe is designed for small breed puppies and young dogs transitioning to solid food. The 1 lb bag is a practical size for owners who recently brought home a new puppy and want to trial a premium recipe before committing to a larger bag.

It's also a good fit for puppy parents who prefer minimally processed food without grains or artificial additives. If you've just found a dog puppy for sale and are building a first feeding plan, a small bag makes it easy to see how your puppy responds.

Feeding & use

Clusters can be served dry like traditional kibble, or lightly moistened with warm water to soften them for very young puppies. Always provide fresh water alongside meals, and follow the feeding guide on the bag based on your puppy's weight and age.

When switching from another food, transition gradually over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts of the new food into the previous one. A measured meal on a steady schedule helps keep growing puppies on a consistent routine.
