Specifications

Who is it for?

This recipe suits adult large-breed dogs — typically dogs around 50 lb and up who have finished growing. If you want a Purina Pro Plan dog food large breed option with joint-supportive nutrition and a chicken-first ingredient list, this shredded blend fits the profile.

How does it support active large-breed dogs?

Larger dogs place more daily load on hips, knees, and shoulders, whether that's a walk around the block or a longer weekend hike. The added glucosamine and balanced calorie level are intended to help maintain joint comfort and a healthy body condition over time.

Live probiotics and omega fatty acids round out the formula, supporting digestion and coat condition as part of a consistent daily routine. Many GTA owners pair a steady grooming schedule with one reliable everyday diet rather than rotating foods frequently.
