Oxbow Animal Health - Prime Cut Hearty & Crunchy Timothy Hay

TL;DR: Oxbow Animal Health - Prime Cut Hearty & Crunchy Timothy Hay is a coarse, high-fibre timothy hay with hearty stems and crisp leaves, packed in a 20 oz resealable bag. It's made for adult rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas that need daily roughage for digestion and crunchy texture for natural dental wear.

Prime Cut is hand-selected from the top tier of timothy harvests. Its bold stems and leafy pieces give small herbivores something substantial to chew, forage, and enjoy.

High-fibre, low-calcium timothy hay is the recommended daily forage for most adult small pets. The crunchy texture encourages the natural chewing motion that supports healthy tooth wear.

Who is it for?

Oxbow Animal Health - Prime Cut Hearty & Crunchy Timothy Hay is designed for adult small herbivores — rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas — that need a daily, high-fibre forage. The bold texture and aroma often appeal to picky eaters that turn up their noses at softer hay.

Feeding & use

Offer unlimited timothy hay daily alongside fresh water and appropriate greens or pellets. Store the resealable 20 oz bag in a cool, dry place to preserve freshness and aroma.

Refill the hay rack or feeding area whenever it runs low — small herbivores graze throughout the day, and a steady supply of Prime Cut Hearty & Crunchy Timothy Hay supports both digestive and dental health.
