Which bag size should you choose?

Choose the 4.4 lb bag for smaller households, travel, or trialling a new food before committing. The 25 lb bag suits daily feeding, larger breeds, and multi-dog homes where a bag turns over quickly.

Who is it for?

This orijen puppy food is formulated for puppies of all breeds and sizes during their growth stage. It suits owners who prefer a grain-free, animal-protein-forward diet and want a single recipe they can feed consistently through puppyhood.

The kibble is dense and small enough to double as a reward during early training sessions and socialization outings, which makes portion tracking straightforward for an orijen puppy dog routine.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, adjusting portions to your puppy's age, current weight, and activity level. Growing puppies are typically fed across two to three meals a day rather than one large serving.

Transition from a previous food gradually over 7–10 days, mixing increasing amounts of Orijen Puppy into the old food each day. Keep fresh water available at all times and store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place.

How does it compare to other Orijen recipes?

For large- and giant-breed puppies with slower, longer growth curves, look at the Orijen - Puppy Large Breed Dry Dog Food. If you'd rather feed a grain-inclusive diet, the Orijen - Amazing Grains Original Dry Dog Food is the alternative within the same brand.

When your dog matures past the growth stage, Orijen - Senior Dry Dog Food continues the same animal-protein-forward approach for older dogs. Planning that progression early makes each transition simpler on your dog's digestion.
