Open Farm - Grain Free Chicken & Salmon Puppy Dry Dog Food

TL;DR: Open Farm - Grain Free Chicken & Salmon Puppy Dry Dog Food is a grain-free dry kibble for puppies, built on two animal proteins — chicken and salmon — with superfood inclusions and a small kibble size. It's made for owners feeding a growing puppy through its first months at home.

This recipe pairs chicken and salmon so the amino acid profile comes from two animal sources rather than one. Salmon-sourced fats contribute DHA, which supports cognitive and eye development during the puppy growth window.

The formula is grain-free and includes superfood additions such as pumpkin and flaxseed for natural fibre. Kibble pieces are sized small so young puppies can pick them up and chew comfortably.

Key features

• Dual animal proteins: chicken and salmon for a broad amino acid profile.
• DHA from salmon: supports cognitive and eye development in puppies.
• Grain-free recipe: no grains in the formula.
• Superfood inclusions: pumpkin and flaxseed contribute natural fibre.
• Puppy-sized kibble: small pieces that are easy for young mouths to chew.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, adjusting for your puppy's current weight, expected adult size, and activity level. Keep fresh water available at all times.

When switching from another diet, transition over 7–10 days by mixing in increasing amounts of the new kibble. Splitting the daily portion into three smaller meals is common practice for young puppies.

How should I store it?

Store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Roll the top down tightly or decant into an airtight container to keep the kibble fresh between feedings.
