NZPF Woof - Lamb Freeze Dried Dog Treats

TL;DR: NZPF Woof Lamb Freeze Dried Dog Treats are single-protein, limited-ingredient lamb treats from The New Zealand Pet Food Co. Freeze-drying preserves the nutrients and flavour of raw food, making these a clean pick for adult dogs with food sensitivities or picky palates.

These treats use lamb as the sole animal protein, keeping the ingredient list short. They are grain-free, hypoallergenic, and can be served dry from the bag or lightly rehydrated with warm water.

For pet parents who like the control of a short-ingredient dog treats recipe but want a shelf-stable option, freeze-dried lamb offers that same approach without the prep. Because they soften once rehydrated, they also suit dogs with few or no teeth.

Who is it for?

These treats suit adult dogs that do better on a single-protein, grain-free diet, including picky eaters and dogs with common food sensitivities. That single-protein simplicity is why many owners choose them as dog treats for sensitive stomachs.

The green-lipped mussel makes them a thoughtful pick for active and older dogs whose owners want to support mobility through everyday snacks. Because they soften easily when rehydrated, they also work well for dogs recovering their appetite or those who prefer a softer texture.

Feeding & use

Offer them straight from the bag as a meal topper, or rehydrate by adding a small amount of warm water and letting them soften for a minute or two. Start with small portions when introducing any new protein, and always provide fresh water alongside.

The pieces are sized for easy handling, which makes them practical as dog treats for training whether you are rewarding good behaviour at home or on a walk to the park.
