Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Cheddar Cheese Crumbles

TL;DR: Northwest Naturals Functional Toppers Cheddar Cheese Crumbles are a freeze-dried, single-ingredient meal topper made from 100% cheddar cheese. Sprinkle over kibble, raw, or cooked food to add flavour and crunch for dogs and cats.

These Northwest Naturals toppers are built around one idea: make everyday meals more appealing with a clean, minimalist ingredient list. The only ingredient is cheddar cheese (pasteurised milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes), freeze-dried to lock in aroma and texture.

Because there's no wheat, soy, corn, artificial preservatives, or fillers, the crumbles sit well alongside most existing diets — kibble, raw, or gently cooked.

Who is it for?

This topper suits dogs — and cats — who could use a little extra encouragement at the bowl: picky eaters, pets transitioning between foods, or any dog whose kibble routine could use a flavour upgrade. These dog toppers add palatability without introducing a long, complicated ingredient list.

If you're exploring the broader Northwest Naturals toppers lineup, you may also like the Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Goat Cheese, the Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Beef Blood, or the Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Whole Egg for different flavour and nutrient profiles. Between the cheese, egg, and beef options, there are cat toppers and dog toppers to match most preferences.

How to use these cat toppers and dog toppers

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese crumbles directly over your pet's regular kibble, raw, or cooked meal. Start with a small amount and adjust based on your pet's size and overall diet, keeping toppers as a complement rather than the main course.

Keep the pouch sealed in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness and texture. Because the crumbles are freeze-dried, they don't require refrigeration before opening.
