KONG - Rewards Zoolooz Elephant Dog Toy

TL;DR: The KONG Rewards Zoolooz Elephant is a treat-dispensing enrichment toy for medium dogs that rewards pawing, nudging, and rolling with kibble or small treats. It's a solid pick for fast eaters or food-motivated dogs who need mental stimulation during solo play.

Enrichment toys like the Zoolooz Elephant tap into your dog's natural foraging instincts. Instead of inhaling a bowl of food, your dog works for each piece by rolling the toy until a treat drops out.

The elephant-shaped design is part of Kong's rotating Zoolooz series, which helps keep novelty high when you swap characters over time. If you're wondering where to buy enrichment toys for a food-motivated dog, this is one of the easier ones to introduce.

Who is it for?

This toy is built for medium-sized dogs who finish meals in seconds, get bored during the day, or need a job while you're busy. It's also useful for owners who want to add mental work to a regular feeding routine without changing the food itself.

If your dog already enjoys puzzle-style play, consider rotating with the KONG - Rewards Zoolooz Lion Dog Toy or the KONG - Rewards Zoolooz Monkey Dog Toy to keep the challenge fresh. For a different style of movement-based play, the KONG - Gyro Dog Toy is worth a look — one of several dog supplies online that pair well with foraging toys.

How do you use it?

Load the toy with your dog's regular kibble or small treats, then let them paw, nudge, and roll it to release the reward. Start with easier loads so your dog learns the pattern, then increase the challenge as they get the hang of it.

Supervise play, and remove the toy once the treats are gone. It isn't a chew toy — it's designed for active, reward-based interaction, which makes it a good fit for food-motivated breeds.

Why does enrichment matter?

Dogs left under-stimulated often channel energy into chewing furniture or barking. A few minutes of foraging-style play each day gives the brain a workout and can help take the edge off restlessness.

That's why many owners now reach for enrichment toys over plain plush options. If you're weighing where to buy enrichment toys that add mental work to your dog's daily routine, the Zoolooz Elephant is a straightforward place to start.
