Fromm - Gold Large Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food

TL;DR: Fromm Gold Large Breed Puppy is a dry dog food formulated for puppies expected to mature over 50 lb, with balanced calcium and phosphorus to support steady bone growth. It uses multiple protein sources and added DHA, making it a practical daily food for large-breed puppies.

Large-breed puppies grow quickly, and what they eat during those first months shapes their joints and frame for life. Fromm - Gold Large Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food is built around that reality: moderated energy and carefully balanced minerals to encourage steady, measured growth.

Starting a new large-breed dog puppy on breed-appropriate nutrition sets a solid foundation from the first bowl.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This food is made for a dog puppy projected to weigh more than 50 lb as an adult — breeds like Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, and German Shepherds. It is not designed for small or toy breeds, or for adult dogs whose growth is complete.

Bringing a large-breed pup home? Starting on a breed-appropriate formula from day one keeps the transition from breeder or shelter food straightforward.

Why does large-breed puppy food matter?

Large-breed puppies can experience skeletal stress when calories and calcium aren't controlled during growth. A formula with moderated energy and balanced minerals helps joints develop at a pace the skeleton can keep up with.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide on the bag based on your puppy's current weight and expected adult weight, and transition gradually from the previous food over 7–10 days. Keep fresh water available at all times, and check with your veterinarian about the right time to move to an adult formula.
