Farmina - Pumpkin Venison & Apple Medium & Maxi Dry Dog Food

TL;DR: Farmina Pumpkin Venison & Apple Medium & Maxi is a grain-free dry dog food built around venison as a novel protein, with pumpkin and apple contributing fibre. It's formulated for adult medium and large breed dogs and includes nutrients that support joint health.

This farmina venison and apple dog food pairs a single, less-common animal protein with pumpkin and apple. That makes it a focused option for owners steering away from grains and from more familiar proteins like beef, chicken, or lamb.

What makes this Farmina venison recipe different?

Venison is the primary protein source, which gives dogs an alternative to beef, chicken, and lamb. The recipe is grain-free, with pumpkin and apple providing fibre.

Kibble is shaped for medium and large breeds, so bigger dogs get a piece size that encourages proper chewing rather than gulping.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This farmina venison dog food suits adult medium and large breed dogs whose owners want a grain-free diet built on a less-common protein. It's a sensible starting point for dogs that haven't done well on chicken-, beef-, or lamb-based recipes.

Owners searching for a dog dry food for allergies often begin with a novel protein like venison, since narrowing the protein list makes it easier to identify what agrees with your dog. Talk to your veterinarian before making changes tied to a suspected food sensitivity.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, adjusting for your dog's weight, age, and activity level. Weighing portions rather than scooping by eye keeps intake consistent for large breeds.

Transition gradually over 7–10 days, mixing increasing amounts of the new food with the current diet so digestion has time to adjust. Keep fresh water available at all times, and store kibble sealed in a cool, dry spot to protect flavour.

Available for same-day pickup at our North York, Toronto storefront, or ships Canada-wide.
