Conairpro - Replacement Grinding Bands And Drum

TL;DR: The Conairpro Replacement Grinding Bands and Drum is a restock kit for Conairpro pet nail grinders, including sanding bands in multiple grits plus a durable drum head. It's a practical pick for dog owners who already grind nails at home and want consistent results between sessions.

When sanding bands wear down, grinding slows and heat builds up. Swapping in fresh bands restores a smooth, predictable finish and keeps your existing Conairpro grinder performing the way it did on day one.

Key features

• Quick to swap — bands and drum install without tools for fast changeovers mid-groom.
• Fits Conairpro nail grinders — sized specifically for the Conairpro grinder system.
• Multiple grits included — choose coarser bands for shaping or finer bands for smoothing.
• Durable drum head — built to hold bands securely through repeated use.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This set is for dog owners who already use a Conairpro grinder and need replacement consumables on hand. A backup set of bands means you never have to stop mid-trim because a band is worn.

It's also useful for multi-dog households, where bands wear faster from heavier use. Keeping spare bands is a simple way to stay on top of nail care at home.

How do you replace the grinding bands?

Slide the worn band off the drum, fit the new band snugly over the drum head, and reattach the drum to your Conairpro grinder. Start with a coarser grit to shorten the nail, then finish with a finer grit to smooth any rough edges.

Feeding & use

Grind a small amount at a time — a few seconds per nail — and check the nail between passes to avoid the quick. Replace bands as soon as you notice reduced grinding speed or uneven wear, which keeps sessions short and comfortable for your dog.

For dogs new to grinders, pair short sessions with treats and gradually build up tolerance over several days.
