BuD'z - Aquatic Scratch Box

TL;DR: The BuD'z - Aquatic Scratch Box is a corrugated cardboard scratcher with an ocean-themed design and an included bag of catnip. At roughly 53 × 20.5 × 10 cm, it gives adult cats a dedicated horizontal surface to scratch, stretch, and pounce — helping redirect claws away from furniture.

The BuD'z - Aquatic Scratch Box pairs a sturdy cardboard base with catnip to draw your cat in from day one, making it easier to establish a scratching habit in a spot you choose. It gives your cat a clear surface to claim instead of the sofa.

Why a cardboard scratch box?

Cats scratch to shed claw sheaths, stretch their back and shoulders, and mark territory. A horizontal box-style scratcher lets them do all three in a natural, low-to-the-ground posture that many cats prefer over vertical posts.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This bud'z scratch box/post suits adult cats who prefer horizontal scratching surfaces, and households looking to protect sofas, chair legs, and rugs. It's a solid pick if you're introducing a first scratcher or adding a second one in a high-traffic room.

How do you get a cat to use it?

Place the box in a spot where your cat already stretches after naps or near a favourite resting area. Sprinkle the included catnip across the surface and gently run your cat's paws over the cardboard once to transfer scent — most cats take over from there.

Feeding & use

Set the BuD'z - Aquatic Scratch Box on a flat surface and refresh it with the provided catnip to renew interest. Replace the unit once the cardboard surface wears down to keep your cat from seeking alternative textures like upholstery.
