Specifications

Who is it for?

This carrier suits owners of larger dogs or cats who need a rigid, well-ventilated crate for car rides, vet appointments, or in-home containment. If you want something sturdier than a soft-sided bag, the Gipsy Eco is built around a hard shell and metal door rather than zippers and mesh.

Choose from Green, Ice Blue, or Lilac — all three share identical dimensions, materials, and hardware, so you can match it to your home or existing pet gear. It's a practical pick when you're shopping for pet supplies online and want a durable transport option.

What if my pet is smaller?

If your pet is smaller, the Bergamo - Gipsy Eco Metal Door Carrier For Small Pets offers the same design in a compact size. For short walks or cabin travel where a soft carrier is preferable, the Ashario Pets - Ultra Comfort Portable Pet Travel Carrier Bag is a lighter alternative.

Feeding & use

Before the first trip, let your pet explore the carrier at home with the door open and a familiar blanket or toy inside. For car travel, place the carrier on the back seat or footwell and secure it with a seatbelt threaded through or around the handle so it cannot slide during braking.

Check that the metal door is fully latched and both side clips are engaged before lifting. Wipe the interior down with mild soap and water between trips, and keep a small absorbent pad at the base for longer journeys.

For post-trip care, many owners keep the Buddycare - Antiseptic Eye Drops For Pets on hand as part of a simple routine. Whether you buy pet supplies for daily use or you're building a travel kit, the Gipsy Eco is a straightforward rigid-shell choice for larger pets — and an easy way to buy pet supplies online with confidence in the GTA.
