What does "harness" mean here?

This is a body-worn walking accessory that wraps around your dog's chest and back instead of attaching to the collar. That design distributes pressure away from the neck and gives you more control on the leash.

Who is it for?

This harness suits dog owners who want a low-bulk, adjustable walking harness with reflective detail built in. The size range covers harnesses for small dogs as well as medium and larger dogs who need a comfortable everyday option.

It can also appeal to owners shopping for a snug fit around the chest and shoulders, since the adjustable straps help you tailor the fit. As one of the more versatile harnesses in our lineup, the Lightweight Reflective Harness adapts to a wide range of body shapes.

How do you choose the right size?

Measure your dog's chest girth at the widest point, just behind the front legs, and compare it against the Small, Medium, or Large option. If your dog falls between sizes, sizing up and tightening the adjustable straps usually gives the most comfortable fit.

This kind of measurement-based sizing is one reason harnesses definition and fit guidance come up so often in pet-owner questions and harnesses AI searches — a proper girth measurement is the most reliable starting point.

Feeding & use

Slip the harness on, fasten the closure, and adjust the straps so you can fit two fingers between the harness and your dog's body. Check the fit regularly, especially for growing puppies, and inspect the straps and stitching before each walk.
