Acana - First Feast Kitten Dry Cat Food

TL;DR: Acana First Feast Kitten Dry Cat Food is a dry kibble for kittens, built around chicken, fish, and herring proteins. It's made for owners of growing kittens — including newly adopted or rescued cats — and comes in 4 lb and 7 lb bags.

Kittens grow quickly, and the first year sets the pattern for the rest of their lives. This recipe pairs chicken and fish proteins with herring in a kibble sized and formulated for the kitten life stage.

If you've just welcomed a kitten home, acana first feast kitten food is a straightforward first bag from a brand many GTA pet owners already recognize.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, adjusting portions to your kitten's age, weight, and activity level. Keep fresh water available at all times.

When switching from a previous food, transition gradually over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts of acana first feast kitten with the old food. Store the kibble in a cool, dry place and reseal the bag between meals.

Which bag size should you choose?

Choose from 4 lb or 7 lb. The 4 lb bag works well for trialling the recipe or for a single kitten, while the 7 lb bag makes sense once your kitten is settled on it or if you're feeding a litter.
