Acana - Chicken Small Breed Dry Dog Food

TL;DR: Acana Chicken Small Breed Dry Dog Food is a chicken-based dry kibble shaped in smaller pieces for small-breed dogs, available in 4.4 lb and 13 lb bags. It suits owners of compact dogs — including small-breed puppies — who want a chicken-forward recipe sized for a smaller mouth.

Small-breed dogs have smaller jaws and faster metabolisms than larger dogs, so both kibble size and protein quality matter at every meal. This Acana small breed dog food centres on chicken as the primary protein and is formed into smaller pieces that are easier for little mouths to pick up and chew.

Available in two bag sizes: choose the 4.4 lb bag to trial the recipe, or the 13 lb bag for better value on regular feeding. Both carry the same chicken-based formula.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, adjusting the daily portion to your dog's weight, age, and activity level. Small-breed puppies are typically fed across several smaller meals per day rather than one large serving.

Transition gradually over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts of this Acana small breed dog food with the current diet. Always provide fresh water alongside dry food, and store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place to keep the kibble fresh.
