Our dark roast has prompted the addition of a new origin to our collection. Sumatra and Colombia yield a rich, full-bodied coffee perfect for french press, filter and espresso.

Our dark roast blend is comprised of Sumatra and Colombia. These two beans stand up very well to darker roasting and provide amazing flavours. You won't find any offensive bitterness or char here - only a smooth richness along with amazing notes of nut, dark chocolate and a full, smoky body. For dark roasts, we recommend immersion and espresso style brewing. Brewers such as french press, AeroPress, and even Clever Drippers will beautifully complement the roast profile.

Our dark roast blend sits at a 10 on the roast scale and a 49 on the Agtron Gourmet Scale as set by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
