Feeding & use

As a standalone meal, follow Weruva's feeding guidance on the can based on your dog's weight and activity level, and adjust to maintain a healthy body condition. As a topper, spoon a portion over your dog's regular kibble to add moisture and flavour.

Transition gradually over 5–7 days by mixing increasing amounts with your dog's current food. Refrigerate any unused portion in a sealed container and use within a few days. Always provide fresh water alongside meals.

A quick note for multi-pet homes wondering whether canned cat food will hurt their dog: this is a dog recipe, but cat and dog foods are formulated to different nutritional standards, so keep each pet on food made for its own species. Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken wet dog food is the version to reach for when feeding your dog.
