SWEDERMA - Therapeutic KETO-C Spray

TL;DR: SWEDERMA Therapeutic KETO-C Spray is a 237 mL antifungal and antibacterial topical spray for dogs and cats, formulated with chlorhexidine and ketoconazole. It's designed to soothe hot spots, rashes, and yeast-related skin irritations, and is alcohol-free so it won't sting on application.

This spray targets bacterial and fungal skin issues with two well-known active ingredients working together. The fine-mist applicator makes it practical for spot treatment on hard-to-reach areas like paws, folds, and underbellies.

Key features

• Dual-action formula: chlorhexidine helps combat bacteria; ketoconazole helps combat fungi and yeast.
• Alcohol-free and non-stinging — gentler on already-irritated skin.
• Spot-treatment spray: reaches folds, paws, and tight areas a wipe or shampoo can't.
• Safe for daily or as-needed application on dogs and cats.
• 237 mL bottle for extended use.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This spray is suited to dogs (and cats) prone to recurring hot spots, itchy patches, yeasty skin folds, or rashes where a targeted topical helps. Owners who want a quick spot-treatment between baths often pair it with a medicated shampoo as part of a wider skin-care routine.

If your pet has an undiagnosed or worsening skin condition, consult your veterinarian before starting a new topical.

How do you use SWEDERMA KETO-C Spray?

Shake well, then spray directly onto the affected area from a few centimetres away. Gently work the product into the coat and onto the skin, and allow it to air-dry — no rinsing required.

Apply once or twice daily, or as directed by your veterinarian. Avoid spraying directly into eyes, ears, or open wounds.

Pair it with the rest of the KETO-C routine

For broader coverage, many owners use the spray alongside the SWEDERMA - Therapeutic KETO-C Wipes for quick daily cleansing, and the SWEDERMA - Therapeutic KETO-C Cucumber Melon Shampoo for full-body bath days. If ear health is also a concern, the SWEDERMA - Therapeutic Ear Cleaning ADVANCED+ rounds out the routine.
