Smart Earth - Camelina Oil For Dogs

TL;DR: Smart Earth Camelina Oil for Dogs is a cold-pressed, non-GMO plant oil in a 2 oz bottle that supplies omega-3, 6, and 9 fatty acids. It's made for dog owners who want a plant-based daily food topper to support joint mobility, skin hydration, and coat condition in dogs of any life stage.

Ashario Pets stocks this camelina oil for dogs in a 2 oz size — a practical format for trialling the oil, for travel, or for smaller dogs.

What is camelina oil for dogs?

Camelina oil is pressed from the seeds of the camelina sativa plant. Smart Earth's version is cold-pressed and non-GMO, with a fatty acid profile focused on joint support and skin and coat condition.

It's sometimes searched as "camellia oil for dogs," but the two come from different plants — this product is camelina seed oil.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This oil suits dogs whose owners want a plant-based omega supplement to support joint mobility, skin hydration, and coat shine. It's also a sensible choice for households that want to try camelina oil in a small bottle before moving to a larger size.

Because it's a topper rather than a chew, it works well for dogs that are fussy about supplements added to their bowl.

Feeding & use

Drizzle Smart Earth camelina oil for dogs over your dog's regular food once daily, following the dosage directions on the bottle for your dog's weight. Start with a smaller amount and increase gradually so digestion can adjust.

Store the bottle in a cool, dark place after opening to preserve freshness. Check with your veterinarian before adding any supplement if your dog is on a prescribed diet or medication.

What pairs well with it?

If you're building a joint and wellness routine, pair this oil with BaieRun - Omega 3 Oil for an additional omega source, or add CartiKare - Dog & Cat Chews For Joints for a chew-format option. Many owners also choose Open Farm - Hip & Joint Chews Supplements For Dogs to round out daily care.
