Royal Canin - Size Health Nutrition Giant Adult Dry Dog Food

TL;DR: Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Giant Adult is a dry dog food formulated for giant-breed adult dogs (18 months and older) weighing over 100 lb. It targets joint support, digestion, and heart health, with kibble shaped for larger mouths.

Giant breeds carry more weight on their frames and mature more slowly than smaller adults, so their nutritional needs differ. This royal canin size health nutrition giant adult dry dog food is tailored to that life stage in both kibble shape and nutrient profile.

What makes this formula different?

Targeted inclusions like glucosamine, chondroitin, EPA and DHA help support bone and joint health, while taurine is included to support heart function. An easy-to-digest protein and fibre blend rounds out the recipe to support digestive comfort in very large dogs.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This dog dry food is intended for adult dogs of giant breeds — Great Danes, Mastiffs, Saint Bernards, and similarly sized companions over 100 lb. It is not designed for puppies, smaller breeds, or dogs under 18 months, since giant breeds mature more slowly and have different nutrient needs at each stage.

Consistent, breed-size-appropriate nutrition also helps support coat condition between grooming visits. If your dog is a different size or life stage, a matched formula will be a better fit.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide on the bag based on your dog's current weight and activity level, and split the daily portion across two meals to help reduce the risk of bloat common in large and giant breeds. Transition gradually from your previous food over 7 to 10 days, and keep fresh water available at all times.

Check with your veterinarian if your dog has specific health considerations. Keeping mealtimes consistent day to day supports steady digestion.
