Riley & Rex - Squeaky Spiky Ball Dog Toy

TL;DR: The Riley & Rex - Squeaky Spiky Ball Dog Toy is a textured thermoplastic rubber (TPR) fetch toy with a built-in squeaker and raised nodules for an unpredictable bounce. Available in 3" and 4.3" sizes, it suits small breed dogs who enjoy fetch, chase, and chew play.

This ball combines three play mechanics in one compact toy: sound, texture, and erratic bounce. The TPR spikes add grip for easy pickup, while the internal squeaker keeps dogs focused through repeated tosses.

What makes this one of the more engaging dog toys for fetch?

Most fetch balls roll predictably. The raised spikes here change how the ball bounces, adding variety to retrieves and keeping indoor and backyard play more interesting. The squeaker gives audible feedback that holds a dog's attention.

Key features

• Built-in squeaker: audible feedback that holds a dog's attention during fetch.
• Spiky TPR surface: raised nodules add chew texture and create an unpredictable bounce.
• Durable rubber construction: stands up to repeat play indoors or outdoors.
• Two sizes: available in 3" and 4.3" to match your dog's mouth.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This toy is a fit for dogs who love a squeak and need a ball with extra texture for easier pickup. The 3" size suits small breeds and puppies; the 4.3" size works well for a small dog with a stronger bite and a bigger mouth.

It's a practical pick for owners building a fetch and chew rotation at home or at the park. Available in 3" and 4.3" — choose the size to match your dog.

Feeding & use

Use the Squeaky Spiky Ball for backyard or park fetch, hallway rolls, or supervised solo chew sessions. The irregular bounce off the spikes adds variety to retrieves and keeps indoor play more engaging.

Always supervise your dog with any toy and replace it once chunks of rubber begin to detach.

Which size should you choose?

Match the ball to your dog's mouth. The 3" ball is appropriate for small dogs and puppies, and the 4.3" ball is better for a larger small breed — pick a size your dog can carry comfortably but not swallow.
