Riley & Rex - Bone Shaped Slow Feeding Licking Mat - 7 In

TL;DR: The Riley & Rex Bone Shaped Slow Feeding Licking Mat is a 7-inch bone-shaped mat that slows mealtime and adds mental enrichment for dogs. Spread on wet food, yogurt, or soft pastes to encourage calm licking during feeding, grooming, or quiet time.

Fast eaters and bored pups benefit from a textured surface that turns a quick meal into a few minutes of focused licking. The bone silhouette has a 7-inch footprint, so it tucks easily into a crate, sits flat on the floor, or fits beside a grooming station.

Looking to buy licking mats for everyday enrichment? This is a low-fuss option that works just as well for slow feeding as it does for distraction during nail trims or baths.

Who is it for?

This mat is built with dogs in mind — especially fast eaters, anxious pups, or dogs that need extra mental stimulation during the day. It also suits puppies learning to settle.

The same format works as licking mats for cats that enjoy pâté or wet food spreads. It's a useful option for dogs that need quiet, low-impact activity, and for households that want a simple enrichment tool to keep on hand.

Feeding & use

Spread a thin layer of wet food, plain yogurt, pumpkin purée, or a pet-safe paste across the textured surface. Offer it on the floor during grooming, nail trims, or bath time to keep your pet focused and calm.

To clean, rinse under warm water with mild soap after each use. For tougher residue or longer-lasting enrichment, freeze the mat with a spread on top before serving — frozen sessions extend lick time and make cleanup easier once thawed.
