Oven-Baked Tradition - Senior Chicken Dog Food

TL;DR: Oven-Baked Tradition Senior Chicken Dog Food is a slow-baked dry kibble made with fresh deboned chicken, fruits, and vegetables, formulated for aging dogs that need a leaner everyday meal. Added glucosamine and chondroitin support joint mobility, while prebiotic fibre supports digestion and weight control. Available in 5 lb and 25 lb resealable bags.

This recipe is built around the nutritional needs of older dogs, with fresh deboned chicken as the first ingredient and a lower-fat, higher-fibre profile suited to slower metabolisms. It works as a steady daily meal at home or after a walk.

Each batch is oven-baked in small quantities for flavour and nutrient retention, then sealed in a resealable bag to keep the kibble fresh between feedings.

Who is it for?

This oven baked senior chicken dog food is made for older dogs that benefit from a leaner, lower-fat diet with added joint and digestive support. It suits seniors with reduced activity levels, and owners who prefer an oven-baked chicken recipe over conventional extruded kibble.

Households feeding dogs at more than one life stage often pair it with the Oven-Baked Tradition - Puppy Chicken Dry Dog Food, the Oven-Baked Tradition - Adult Small Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food, or the Oven-Baked Tradition - Adult Large Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food — all built on the same oven-baked chicken base.

How does it compare to standard adult kibble?

Compared with a general adult formula, this oven baked dog chicken food for seniors runs lower in fat and higher in fibre, which suits dogs burning fewer calories than they once did. The glucosamine and chondroitin inclusion is the other main difference, aimed at supporting joints as dogs age.

Feeding & use

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, adjusting portions to your dog's weight, activity level, and body condition. Transition gradually over 7–10 days, mixing increasing amounts of the new food with the current one.

Keep fresh water available at all times. Reseal the bag after each use and store it in a cool, dry place to preserve flavour and freshness — the same applies whether you are feeding from the 5 lb or the 25 lb size of this oven baked senior chicken dog food.
