Open Farm - Grain Free Kitten RawMix Dry Cat Food

TL;DR: Open Farm Grain Free Kitten RawMix is a grain-free dry cat food for growing kittens, built on chicken, turkey and salmon kibble mixed with freeze-dried raw chunks. Each piece is coated in bone broth, and the recipe contains no corn, wheat or soy. It suits kitten owners who want a raw-inspired meal without the prep work of a raw diet.

Kittens grow quickly and eat small meals often, so density matters. This Open Farm kitten food pairs a multi-protein kibble with freeze-dried raw pieces in the same bag, so every scoop delivers both textures.

What makes this RawMix cat food different?

• Multi-protein kitten formula built on chicken, turkey and salmon
• Grain-free recipe with no corn, wheat or soy
• Kibble coated in bone broth and mixed with freeze-dried raw chunks
• Formulated specifically for the kitten life stage, not an all-life-stages blend
• Two textures in one bag — no separate raw topper to buy or thaw

Specifications

Who is it for?

This is a kitten-stage food for cats still in their growth phase, in single-kitten homes or multi-cat households where the youngest needs its own bowl. It fits owners who want a grain-free ingredient list and a raw-inspired texture without handling frozen or fresh raw.

Cats that are picky about kibble alone often respond to the freeze-dried pieces, which give the bowl variety in mouthfeel. Because it is grain-free with no corn, wheat or soy, it also appeals to owners working from a simpler ingredient list.

How does it compare to other Open Farm recipes?

Once your kitten matures, the adult recipes in the same family are a straightforward next step — try the Open Farm - Grain Free Lamb Dry Cat Food or the Open Farm - Grain Free Catch Of The Season Whitefish Dry Cat Food for a fish-forward option.

If there's a dog in the house too, the same Open Farm RawMix dry cat food concept carries over to Open Farm - Grain Free Open Prairie RawMix Dry Dog Food, so both bowls follow the same feeding philosophy.

Feeding & use

Serve as a complete kitten meal, following the feeding guide printed on the bag based on your kitten's age and weight. Kittens typically do better with several smaller meals a day than one large one.

Transition gradually over 7–10 days, mixing increasing amounts of the new Open Farm kitten food into your kitten's current diet. Always keep fresh water available alongside dry food.

Store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place to protect the freeze-dried raw chunks and the bone-broth coating. Rolling the bag closed after each meal preserves texture better than decanting into an open bin.

Available for same-day pickup at our North York, Toronto storefront, or ships Canada-wide.
