Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Whole Egg

TL;DR: Northwest Naturals Functional Toppers Whole Egg is a freeze-dried whole egg meal topper for dogs and cats. Sprinkle it over kibble, raw, or cooked food to add flavour and variety — especially useful for picky eaters.

Eggs are a naturally complete protein source, and this topper captures the whole egg — yolk and white — in a shelf-stable freeze-dried format. It's a simple, single-ingredient way to make mealtime more interesting without overhauling your pet's primary diet.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This Northwest Naturals egg topper is made for dogs (and cats) who need extra interest at mealtime, or whose owners want to add whole-food nutrition without switching their primary diet. It suits picky eaters, dogs transitioning between foods, and pets whose owners prefer minimally processed add-ons.

Because it works across species, it doubles as one of the more versatile cat toppers on our shelf — the same freeze-dried whole egg that boosts a dog's bowl can add flavour to a cat's meal. You may also like Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Beef Blood, Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Goat Cheese, or Northwest Naturals - Functional Toppers Cheddar Cheese Crumbles to rotate flavours through the week.

How do you use the Northwest Naturals egg topper?

Sprinkle or crumble a small amount of the freeze-dried whole egg over your pet's regular food. Start with a light dusting and adjust based on your pet's size and calorie needs; toppers are meant to complement, not replace, a complete and balanced diet.

This isn't an egg salad recipe — it's a single-ingredient topper. There's nothing to prepare beyond opening the bag and crumbling over the bowl.

Feeding & use

Store the resealed bag in a cool, dry place. Keep fresh water available, especially when feeding freeze-dried foods.

If your pet has a known egg sensitivity or you're unsure about adding new ingredients, check with your veterinarian first.
