Naturally Fresh - Multi-Cat Clumping Cat Litter

TL;DR: Naturally Fresh Multi-Cat Clumping Cat Litter is a walnut-shell litter built for households with two or more cats. It clumps quickly, controls odour naturally, and produces low dust — a practical pick for multi-cat homes in the GTA.

Made from 100% natural walnut shells, this litter uses plant fibres to absorb liquid fast and trap ammonia odours without synthetic fragrances or clay. It's a biodegradable alternative for cat owners who want a cleaner box routine with less tracking around the house.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This litter is made for multi-cat households where boxes get used often and odour builds up fast. It's also a good fit for owners moving away from clay toward a plant-based, biodegradable option while still getting firm clumps.

How does walnut-shell cat litter control odour?

Walnut shells are naturally fibrous and absorbent, which helps them trap moisture quickly and bind to the ammonia released from cat urine. Because odour control comes from the material itself, there's no need for added perfumes that some cats find off-putting.

Feeding & use

Fill a clean litter box with about 3–4 inches (7–10 cm) of litter. Scoop clumps and solids daily, top up as needed, and fully replace and wash the box on a regular schedule — more frequently in multi-cat homes.

When transitioning from another cat litter, mix the new litter with the old over 5–7 days so your cats adjust gradually. Keep the box in a quiet, accessible spot, and offer one box per cat plus one extra where possible.
