Size

TL;DR: LitterLocker refills are multi-layer bag cartridges that snap into LitterLocker Design and Design Plus disposal pails to seal used cat litter and waste. Each cartridge lasts up to 2 months per cat, so a 3-pack is roughly a 6-month supply for a single-cat household.

These litterlocker refills use an Air-Seal multi-layer film to trap moisture and odours inside the pail between emptyings. They're made for cat owners who want a tidier, lower-odour way to manage daily scooping.

Key features

  • Air-Seal multi-layer film — traps moisture and odours inside the cartridge.
  • Snap-in cartridge — fits both LitterLocker Design and Design Plus pails.
  • Up to 2 months per cat — one refill covers roughly 60 days of single-cat use.
  • 3-pack — up to 6 months of supply when used by one cat.
  • Direct-fit replacement — designed for existing LitterLocker systems.

Who is it for?

This LitterLocker Design Plus refill is for cat households already using a LitterLocker Design or Design Plus disposal pail. It's the matching cartridge for those specific systems.

Multi-cat homes will go through refills faster than the 2-month-per-cat guideline, so the 3-pack is a practical baseline for one- or two-cat households.

How do you replace a LitterLocker refill?

Open the pail, lift out the spent cartridge, and drop a new one into the ring. Pull the film down through the centre, tie a knot at the base, and close the lid — the snap-in design means no tools are needed.

Feeding & use

One cartridge lasts up to 2 months for a single cat with daily scooping. Heavier use, clumping litter with higher moisture, or additional cats will shorten that window.

If you're refreshing your whole litter setup, consider pairing these litterlocker refills with a naturally low-dust litter like Dofu Cat - Natural Tofu Cat Litter or Feline Fresh - Natural Pine Cat Litter. For everyday essentials, the Dexypaws - Cat Collar is a popular add-on.

Available for same-day pickup at our North York, Toronto storefront, or ships Canada-wide.
