KONG - Rewards Zoolooz Monkey Dog Toy

TL;DR: The KONG Rewards Zoolooz Monkey is a medium-sized treat-dispensing dog toy that turns mealtime into a foraging puzzle. It's built for dogs who enjoy pawing, nudging, and rolling to earn rewards, and it helps slow down fast eaters.

The Zoolooz Monkey is part of KONG's enrichment line of interactive dog toys. Fill the cavity with small kibble or training treats, and your dog works the toy to release them — a simple way to add mental stimulation to solo play.

What makes this toy good for enrichment?

The whimsical monkey shape creates unpredictable rolls, so rewards don't drop out on the first nudge. That unpredictability keeps dogs engaged and encourages problem-solving behaviour between walks or training sessions.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This toy suits medium-sized dogs who enjoy working for their food and benefit from mental stimulation between walks. It's a useful pick for fast eaters, dogs left alone for short periods, or puppies learning to problem-solve.

It is not built for heavy or aggressive chewers, who may need a more robust rubber option instead.

Feeding & use

Load the toy with a small handful of kibble or training treats, then let your dog investigate. Start with easier fills so your dog learns the toy is rewarding, then reduce the treat size or quantity as they get the hang of it.

Always supervise play, and put the toy away once the treats are gone or when your dog is unattended. Clean between uses if you're filling with anything soft or sticky.

Pair it with other KONG enrichment toys

Rotating toys keeps dogs curious. If your dog enjoys the Monkey, consider building a small set with the KONG - Rewards Zoolooz Elephant Dog Toy and the KONG - Rewards Zoolooz Lion Dog Toy for variety. For a different motion-based challenge, the KONG - Gyro Dog Toy is a solid addition to your rotation.
