KONG - Extreme Flyer Dog Toy

TL;DR: The KONG Extreme Flyer is a frisbee-style fetch toy made from durable, flexible rubber that's gentler on teeth than hard plastic discs. It suits power-chewing dogs and puppies who love mid-air catches and long outdoor fetch sessions.

The KONG Extreme Flyer pairs aerodynamic flight with a softer landing, letting you throw far without the harsh impact of a rigid plastic disc. The rubber build is designed to hold up between throws, even with extreme chewers.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This toy is built for puppies and adult dogs who chew hard and play harder — the kind of dog who tears through standard plastic frisbees in an afternoon. It also suits active breeds that need daily running and retrieving to burn off energy.

If your puppy is still developing bite strength or is a gentle player, the lighter KONG - Flyer Dog Toy is a better starting point.

Feeding & use

Use it outdoors on grass or open ground for fetch, recall practice, and catch training. Start with short, low throws so your dog learns to track and catch the disc in the air before extending distance.

Always supervise play and inspect the toy regularly. Retire any dog toy once it shows significant damage, and choose a size appropriate for your dog's jaw.

For variety in your fetch rotation, pair this with the KONG - Whirlz Throw Dog Toy for ground-based tossing games, or the KONG - Whirlz Rope Dog Toy for tug-and-throw play between sessions. When you want to buy fetch/throw toys for power chewers, the KONG Extreme Flyer is a durable, long-haul pick.
