HugSmart - Autumn Tailz Dog Toy

TL;DR: The HugSmart Autumn Tailz Dog Toy is a plush apple-basket set with removable squeaky apples designed for interactive foraging and hide-and-seek play. It's a good pick for small to medium dogs who are light to moderate chewers and enjoy problem-solving games.

This seasonal plush set pairs a soft basket with squeaky apples your dog can dig out, shake, and re-hide. The combination encourages natural foraging behaviour and keeps play sessions mentally engaging, not just physical.

Built from soft materials that are gentle on teeth and gums, the Autumn Tailz set suits lighter chewers who prefer plush over hard rubber. If you shop for dog supplies online, it's an easy addition to a rotating toy collection.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This toy suits small and medium dogs who enjoy hunting for hidden squeakers, fetch-style play, or gentle tug. Because it's plush, it's best matched with light to moderate chewers rather than heavy destroyers.

If your dog loves figuring things out — pulling items out of containers, nosing through laundry baskets, or emptying toy bins — the apple-basket format plays directly to that instinct.

Feeding & use

Start by showing your dog the apples inside the basket, then tuck them back in and encourage a "find it" game. Rotate the squeaky apples between sessions to keep interest high, and supervise play so any loose threads or damaged seams can be addressed early.

As with any plush dog toy, inspect it regularly and retire it once the fabric or squeakers become damaged.

What else pairs well with it?

Many owners build out a plush rotation rather than relying on a single toy, and browsing dog supplies online makes that easy. If you're after more picks for light chewers, you may also like the BuD'z - Plush Dog Toy, the BuD'z - Crinkle Dog Toy, and the BuD'z - Monster Plush Dog Toy. Shoppers who buy plush toys often keep a few on hand so a fresh one is ready when needed, and if you buy plush blanket bedding too, it rounds out a cozy corner for your dog.
