Hill's Science Diet - Sensitive Stomach & Skin Pollock & Barley Dry Cat Food

TL;DR: Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin Pollock & Barley is a complete dry cat food for adult cats with digestive sensitivities or skin and coat concerns. Pollock leads as the primary protein, paired with barley to support gentle digestion and skin health.

This adult formula is built around a focused idea: cats with sensitive stomachs and reactive skin often do better on a recipe with a single lead protein and balanced fibre. Pollock — a member of the whitefish family — is the primary protein, and barley contributes fibre that helps maintain stool quality.

Who is it for?

This food is intended for adult cats whose owners have noticed signs of digestive sensitivity — soft stools or occasional stomach upset — or skin and coat issues such as dryness or excess shedding. It works as a daily maintenance diet for cats who do well on fish-based recipes.

If you're comparing whitefish cat food options, pollock is a close relative in the whitefish family, offering the same focus on a single fish-based protein in an everyday kibble format.

Feeding & use

Feed according to the guidelines on the bag, adjusted for your cat's weight, age, and activity level. When switching from another food, transition gradually over about 7 days by mixing increasing amounts of the new food with the old to help your cat's system adapt.
