Farmina - Ancestral Grain Chicken & Pomegranate Adult Mini Dry Dog Food

TL;DR: Farmina Ancestral Grain Chicken & Pomegranate Adult Mini is a small-breed dry dog food built around chicken and dehydrated chicken, with whole spelt, oats and dried pomegranate. Over 90% of the total protein comes from animal sources, and the mini-size kibble is shaped for smaller mouths.

This recipe pairs high-inclusion animal protein with limited ancestral grains, giving small adult dogs a balanced, lower-glycemic alternative to legume-heavy kibbles. It avoids corn, wheat and soy, making it a straightforward choice for owners of active small breeds.

What makes this Farmina chicken and pomegranate dog food different?

Chicken and dehydrated chicken lead the ingredient deck, so the protein is concentrated and animal-based rather than plant-based. Whole spelt and oats stand in for the corn, wheat and soy found in many mainstream kibbles, and dried pomegranate contributes natural antioxidants.

Feeding & use

Follow Farmina's on-bag feeding chart, which scales daily portions to your dog's adult weight and activity level. Split the daily amount across two meals and keep fresh water available.
