Dofu Cat - Natural Tofu Cat Litter

TL;DR: Dofu Cat Natural Tofu Cat Litter is a plant-based, fast-clumping litter made from natural tofu fibre, sold in 2.5 kg, 6 kg and 9 kg bags. It's unscented, low-dust and flushable — suited to adult cats and owners who want a lighter, biodegradable alternative to clay.

Made from natural tofu fibre, this tofu cat litter forms firm clumps quickly so solids lift out cleanly and less litter leaves the box with each scoop. Because it's unscented, odour control comes from the clumping action rather than added fragrance.

The litter is lightweight and biodegradable, which makes the bag easier to carry home and disposal simpler than heavier clay options. Its soft texture is gentle underfoot for cats that are fussy about litter surfaces.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This litter suits adult cats in single-cat or multi-cat homes, and owners moving away from heavy clay litters. It's also a reasonable choice for households where dust or added fragrance is a concern.

Choose the 2.5 kg bag to trial the litter and see how your cat takes to the texture, the 6 kg for regular single-cat use, or the 9 kg for multi-cat households that go through litter quickly.

How does Dofu cat litter compare to clay?

Tofu litter is lighter to carry, produces less airborne dust, and is biodegradable, while clay litters are heavier and not flushable. This tofu litter cat option also clumps firmly and quickly, so the rest of the box stays cleaner between full changes.

Feeding & use

Fill a clean litter box with roughly 5–7 cm of litter. Scoop clumps and solids daily and top up to maintain that depth, replacing the full box contents as needed.

Small clumps can be flushed in most modern plumbing systems — check your local wastewater guidance first, and avoid flushing in septic or low-flow systems. If you use an automatic sifting box, confirm clump firmness with a small bag before committing to a larger size.
