Dexypaws - Dog Head Enrichment Licking Mat

TL;DR: The Dexypaws Dog Head Enrichment Licking Mat is a dog-head-shaped silicone mat for spreadable treats that encourages slow licking and calm focus. Made from food-grade, BPA-free silicone, it's a simple enrichment tool for dogs and puppies who need mental stimulation or help settling down.

Licking is a naturally soothing behaviour for dogs, and a textured surface slows the process down so a small amount of food lasts much longer. That makes this mat useful during crate time, grooming, nail trims, or quiet evenings when your dog needs a constructive outlet.

The dog-head silhouette adds a bit of visual fun to a routine enrichment tool, and it's easy to hold, flip, or freeze. Licking mats good for dogs give fast eaters and anxious chewers something constructive to focus on.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This mat suits dogs of most sizes who benefit from enrichment and slower feeding — think anxious chewers, fast eaters, crate-trainees, or any pup who needs something to focus on while you work from home.

Because it slows things down and holds a small amount of food, it's a practical choice among licking mats for puppies learning to settle. Always match session length and food to your dog's size and appetite.

Feeding & use

Spread a thin, even layer of something lick-able across the textured surface: plain yogurt, wet food, pumpkin purée, or peanut butter (xylitol-free). For longer sessions, freeze the mat for 1–2 hours before giving it to your dog.

When the session is done, rinse the mat or run it through the dishwasher. Always supervise your dog while they use it, and retire the mat if it shows damage.
