Caru - Classic Stews For Dogs

TL;DR: Caru - Classic Stews For Dogs are stew-style wet dog food recipes packaged in 12.5 oz resealable cartons, available in Real Beef, Real Chicken, and Real Turkey. They suit adult dogs who prefer a soft, broth-forward meal served on its own or as a topper over kibble.

Caru - Classic Stews For Dogs skip the metal can in favour of a resealable carton you can refrigerate. Pour what your dog needs at mealtime, then store the rest in the fridge.

Among dog wet food brands, Caru's carton format is a practical alternative to standard cans — no can opener required.

What are the key features?

• Stew-style texture with visible meat pieces and broth
• Three protein options: beef, chicken, and turkey
• 12.5 oz resealable carton
• Serve as a complete meal or as a topper over dry food
• Formulated for adult dogs

Available in Real Beef Stew, Real Chicken Stew, and Real Turkey Stew in the 12.5 oz size. Many households rotate all three across the week to vary proteins. If you're looking for a dog wet food without chicken, the Real Beef Stew and Real Turkey Stew options fit that need.

Who is it for?

Caru - Classic Stews For Dogs are designed for adult dogs who prefer a wet, broth-forward meal over dry kibble alone. They're a practical pick for picky eaters, dogs transitioning between foods, and households that like to rotate proteins.

The soft texture also suits dogs who enjoy a warmer, more aromatic meal, and the recipe can support dogs with a sensitive stomach when new proteins are introduced gradually.

Feeding & use

As a complete meal, follow the brand's feeding guidance based on your dog's weight on the carton. As a topper, spoon a portion over your dog's regular kibble to add moisture and flavour.

After opening, reseal the carton and refrigerate any unused portion, using it within the window listed on the package. Introduce new proteins gradually if your dog has a sensitive stomach.

What else pairs well with it?

For multi-pet homes, the same stew format for cats is available as Caru - Classic Stews For Cats. For a lighter pouch-style topper, consider Weruva - Pumpkin Patch Up Coconut & Flax Wet Dog Food Pouch, or try a multi-protein rotation with Healthy Paws - Canine Complete Variety Pack - Beef & Chicken.
