Caravan Pet - Country Cookhouse Gently Cooked Chicken Raw Dog Food

TL;DR: Caravan Pet Country Cookhouse Gently Cooked Chicken Raw Dog Food is a grain-free, human-grade meal built around a single animal protein — chicken — and lightly cooked rather than left fully raw. This 1 lb package is made for adult dogs whose owners want a minimally processed diet that sits between kibble and raw feeding.

This Country Cookhouse dog food keeps the ingredient panel short and protein-forward, with chicken as the featured protein and no grain fillers. The gentle cooking step helps preserve natural flavour and nutrients.

For households curious about fresh feeding but not ready to commit to a fully raw bowl, a gently cooked format is a practical middle step.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This Caravan dog food suits adult dogs whose owners prefer a gently cooked meal over a fully raw one. The single-protein, grain-free recipe is a reasonable starting point for a dog that does better without grains or multi-protein blends.

The 1 lb size also works well as a trial portion before committing to a larger fresh-feeding routine.

Feeding & use

Serve thawed and follow the feeding guidelines on the package, adjusting portions to your dog's weight, age, and activity level. Keep frozen until use, thaw in the refrigerator, and keep any opened portion refrigerated.

When switching from kibble or another diet, transition gradually over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts of this cookhouse dog food into your dog's current food. Fresh water should always be available.

How does this compare to kibble?

Unlike dry kibble, this is a refrigerated or frozen format with higher moisture and minimal processing. It can be fed as a complete bowl or used as a topper over your dog's existing food.

Why choose a single-protein recipe?

A single animal protein makes it easier to track how your dog responds to what's in the bowl. Owners working through ingredient sensitivities often start with one protein before introducing others.
