Benko - Catnip Pillow Cat Toy

TL;DR: The Benko Catnip Pillow is a compact plush cat toy filled with 100% pure wild-grown catnip, made in Canada and built for batting, tossing, and bunny-kicking play. It's a simple, effective pick for adult cat owners shopping for cat supplies online.

Catnip pillows work because the aromatic oils in dried catnip trigger a natural play response in most cats. Benko fills each pillow with pure wild-grown catnip, so the scent is strong straight out of the packaging.

Each pillow ships in an assorted fabric design, so the colour and pattern vary from one toy to the next. What stays consistent is the catnip inside and the compact pillow shape cats can grab with their paws.

Who is it for?

This toy suits adult cats that respond to catnip and enjoy solo play sessions. If your cat likes to carry small toys in their mouth or kick with their back legs, the pillow shape works for both styles of play.

Roughly one in three cats doesn't respond to catnip, so results vary from cat to cat. Sensitivity also tends to develop with age, so very young kittens may show little interest.

How do you use a catnip pillow?

Offer the pillow during active play periods — mornings and evenings tend to work best. Toss it a short distance to start a chase, or leave it out for your cat to discover and wrestle on their own.

To keep the scent strong between sessions, store the pillow in a sealed bag or container when not in use. If the aroma fades over time, gently squeezing the pillow can help release fresh oils from the catnip inside.
