Ashario Pets - Dispenser Toy - Strawberry

TL;DR: The Ashario Pets Strawberry Dispenser Toy is a treat-releasing enrichment toy shaped like a strawberry, made from flexible, bite-resistant rubber. It's designed for small to medium dogs who benefit from slow feeding, chewing, and problem-solving play.

This strawberry-shaped dispenser toy turns snack time into a mental workout. Treats release gradually as your dog rolls, paws, and chews, engaging natural foraging instincts while slowing down fast eaters.

What makes this toy good for enrichment?

Food-dispensing toys are a simple way to add daily mental stimulation. The slow-release chamber rewards persistence, which helps reduce boredom-related behaviours and supports healthier eating habits.

The core idea behind enrichment is play that challenges the brain, not just the body. A rotating set of dispenser toys is an easy first step for owners exploring dog enrichment options.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This toy suits small to medium dogs who eat too quickly, get bored between walks, or need a structured outlet for chewing. It's a useful pick for owners who want something beyond a standard chew toy.

Feeding & use

Load the chamber with small, dry treats or kibble sized to your dog. Let your dog roll and nudge the toy to release rewards, and always supervise play.

Rinse with warm, soapy water between uses and inspect periodically for wear, replacing the toy if the rubber becomes damaged.

How does it compare to other Ashario dispenser toys?

If your dog enjoys this strawberry, they may also like the Ashario Pets - Dispenser Toy - Mushroom or the Ashario Pets - Dispenser Toy - Dragon Fruit — both use the same slow-release concept in different shapes.

For heavier chewers who prefer something to gnaw rather than forage, the Ashario Pets - Dog Toy - Bone is a solid companion piece. Rotating a few different enrichment toys is a practical approach to at-home problem-solving play that tires a dog's brain.
