Ashario Pets - "BreezyVest" Summer Lightweight Reflective Harness - M

TL;DR: The Ashario Pets "BreezyVest" in Medium is a lightweight, breathable mesh harness with reflective trim, built for summer walks with medium-size dogs. It's a cooler, more visible alternative to heavier padded harnesses for warm-weather GTA outings.

By harnesses definition, a harness is a body-worn walking accessory that distributes leash pressure across the chest and shoulders rather than the neck. In summer that matters: the BreezyVest focuses on airflow and visibility with breathable mesh panels, reflective detailing, and adjustable straps for a personalized fit.

What makes the BreezyVest different?

Unlike heavier padded options, this harness is designed around ventilation and weight. The mesh is quick-drying, which is useful after splash parks, beach visits, or rainy mornings. Reflective trim adds low-light visibility for early or late walks.

Key features

• Breathable mesh fabric for airflow on hot days
• Reflective trim for low-light visibility
• Adjustable straps for a personalized fit that reduces slipping or rubbing
• Lightweight, quick-drying build suited to summer and water-friendly outings
• Medium cut designed to balance control and natural movement

Specifications

Available in five colours: Red, Blue, Fluorescent Green, Wine Red, and Black. Fluorescent Green pairs especially well with the reflective trim for dusk walks.

Who is it for?

The BreezyVest M is made for medium-size dogs whose owners want a lighter, cooler option than a padded tactical harness. It's a good fit for daily neighbourhood walks, patio visits, and trail outings in hot weather.

If your dog sits outside the medium range, see the Ashario Pets - "BreezyVest" Summer Lightweight Reflective Harness - L or the Ashario Pets - "BreezyVest" Summer Lightweight Reflective Harness - XL. Owners comparing harnesses for dachshunds and other long-bodied breeds should measure carefully before choosing this Medium cut.

Feeding & use

Before the first walk, loosen all straps, slip the harness over your dog's head and front legs, then tighten each strap until you can fit two fingers flat between the strap and your dog's body. Attach the leash to the back D-ring and re-check the fit after five minutes of movement.

This is one of the more breathable harnesses for dogs in our summer range, and the chest-and-shoulder pressure distribution can help with everyday control. Hand wash with mild soap and air dry; the quick-drying mesh is typically ready again within a few hours.

Inspect straps and stitching regularly, especially if your dog pulls. For a year-round option to keep in rotation, the Ashario Pets - Lightweight Reflective Harness is a solid companion piece among our harnesses for dogs.
