Acana - Highest Protein Kitten Dry Cat Food

TL;DR: Acana - Highest Protein Kitten Dry Cat Food is a grain-free dry kibble built around three animal proteins — chicken, turkey, and fish — formulated for kittens under 12 months of age. It comes in a 4 lb resealable bag with a small kibble size suited to kitten mouths.

Kittens grow quickly through their first year, and the diet they eat during that window supports muscle development, coat condition, and daily energy. This Acana kitten dry food leans on animal protein rather than grains as its foundation.

Specifications

Who is it for?

This Acana highest protein kitten formula is made for cats under 12 months old whose owners want a meat-forward, grain-free diet during the rapid growth phase. The small kibble size makes it practical for kittens just moving off milk or wet food.

It also suits multi-cat households looking to keep a single brand across life stages, since the ingredient approach carries over into Acana's adult recipes.

How much should you feed a kitten?

Follow the feeding guide printed on the bag, matched to your kitten's age and current weight, and adjust as they grow. Kittens typically eat more per kilogram of body weight than adult cats, so portions change month to month.

Keep fresh water available at all times, and split the daily amount into two or more meals rather than one large serving.

Feeding & use

Transition to this Acana kitten food gradually over 7–10 days, mixing increasing amounts of the new kibble with the current diet. A slow switch helps your kitten adjust to the new recipe.

Store the 4 lb bag sealed in a cool, dry place to preserve kibble texture and aroma. Roll the bag closed after each scoop rather than decanting the whole thing into an open container.

What comes after the first year?

Once your cat passes 12 months, you can move to Acana - Highest Protein Indoor Adult Dry Cat Food or Acana - Indoor Entree Dry Cat Food for indoor adults. Acana - Homestead Harvest Adult Dry Cat Food is another adult option in the same 4 lb format.
